CBTIP-BKVTF (Belgian Chamber of Translators, Interpreters and Philologists). Membership of the Chamber is open to any qualified translator, interpreter or philologist.

CTIC (Canadian Translators and Interpreters Council) admits only provincial and territorial bodies, variously called an association, order, society or corporation. CTIC strives to make available to the public a body of reliable professionals in translation, terminology and interpretation, and to contribute to the progress and advancement of the profession.

The (European Association for Machine Translation (EAMT) is an organization that serves the growing community of people interested in MT and translation tools, including users, developers, and researchers of this increasingly viable technology.

The IOL (Institute of Linguists) serves the interests of professional linguists throughout the world and acts as a respected language assessment and accredited awarding body. Founded in 1910, the Institute now has around 7,000 Fellows, Members and Associate Members.
